Service was quick and courteous, by Cade who was polite and very jolly. Kinga also helped by kindly allowing me to use my Defence Discount card. The very tasty food was served to me by a very polite Zoltan. Overall, a wonderful experience during the madness of a train strike situation... the staff were a breath of fresh air, a credit to this venue.

Gorgeous food, clean and friendly restaurant, great prices too. A decent place to get something to eat before seeing if on a long train journey.

Good drinks, nice atmosphere to escape the outside station. Arrogant abrasive waitor, would have had food and sat for longer had he not confronted me about sitting in the restaurant area in such a way as if in crowd control, and then proceeded to pull a rope barrier in front of me. He needs to turn it down about 6 notches, it's not the Michelin star Italian venues he may have worked in before. Other than that a nice place.

The Mad Bishop Bear is a large pub in Paddington mainline Station, hidden on the 2nd Floor! Lots of tables to sit within the pub or indeed out on the terrace, above the throng of commuters. You can traditionally order at the bar or direct from your table, with their smartphone app (I decided to go to the bar). Friendly staff, an ice cold Heineken and only £5.75, not bad for a London pint!
