Probably a lot of reviews before this one already referred to Spicy Fingers as the cheapest drinking place and/or the place with the longest Happy Hour . They are not kidding though. I believe that was the reason I went here in the first place. I would like to be different and say other things about this place, but see, if you 're broke and miserable and you see a place offering cocktail drinks at 50 pesos per glass, who wouldn 't be happy? And who wouldn 't focus on that either? Anyway, as I was writing the first paragraph, I realized that I have mumbled on and gave you nothing except the Happy Hour part. Now I remember I actually had dinner here with my work colleagues. If ever you find yourself here, don 't forget to try their Hot Fingers and Mozza Sticks! And hey that 's go perfectly with your drinks! Also they have several shows lined up for you once in a while. Monday nights are reserved for Laffamania which I am not sure if it 's still on right now. Better check it first.
The customer service is great, especially when you sit at the bar. I've visited several times just to have snacks and shots, usually during happy hour to take advantage of the discounts. They offer certain cocktails at a reduced price until 9 PM daily, and selected shots are discounted until 10 PM—both of which are excellent and strong. My favorites are the melon and chocolate volt shots, which are only 60 PHP each! That's around a dollar and a half! You definitely wouldn't find prices like that in the States—only in the Philippines! They also have affordable beer options. My last experience with my mom was fantastic, and I really miss those mellow ball shots. I even managed to get her hooked on them too! The deep-fried short ribs were a hit, served with spicy vinegar. They were lightly breaded, and the meat just fell off the bone—absolutely delicious. The onion rings were great too—not oily or greasy, and it's interesting that they serve them with lightly seasoned mayonnaise; I prefer dipping mine in spicy vinegar instead (I know, a bit odd!). I like their spicy chicken wings but wish they were actually spicy since the sauce wasn’t. I requested calamansi, soy sauce, and hot peppers instead, which made them much better. I’ve also tried their special appetizer platter featuring various meats like longanisa, tocino, and adobo. It has changed a bit since my last visit, so the meat selection may vary. Just a heads-up—you need to order rice separately, as it doesn’t come with the platter. Eating with my fingers made it even more enjoyable. It was finger-licking good—maybe they should call it "sticky fingers"!
I visited Spicy Fingers with some girlfriends to pass the time and avoid traffic. It's the perfect spot for anyone looking to grab a drink before heading home, especially if you're on a budget. They offer drinks at very low prices during happy hour. We particularly loved the margaritas and tequila sunrises, which were best enjoyed with a generous portion of cheesy chips.
Spicy Fingers offers excellent food and fantastic drinks. It's a good idea to arrive early to secure a table for a meal, and then you can enjoy drinks while listening to live music. The food is beautifully presented and quite tasty, with reasonable prices that make for great value. Tip: It gets extremely busy on weekends, so make sure to arrive early and stay for the bands, as they provide some of the best live music in Manila. This venue attracts a diverse crowd from all nationalities and backgrounds, so be ready for surprises. And don’t forget, dancing is highly encouraged!
