Gene's - City of New York

I’m originally from Maine and decided to stop by on a whim after my art show reception. The atmosphere was welcoming, and the food was great!

After a flight that was over an hour late, we hurried over to Gene's. Despite our late arrival—just 45 minutes before closing—the staff was incredibly gracious, professional, and welcoming. The wine service, table service, ambiance, and food were all outstanding. I highly recommend this place. If you find yourself arriving late, make sure to be quick and tip generously!

The service is friendly, the Italian-American food is fantastic and has a classic vibe, giving it a nostalgic restaurant atmosphere.

This meal was one of the best! I had the chicken marsala, and it DELIVERED. The staff was very attentive without being overbearing. It left like an authentic Italian experience and I would definitely go back. Period.
