This dining room in the Hotel Conde Rodrigo 1 offers a 3 course prix fixe menu for €13.50. It is great value for the price. Not all the staff speak English, but they are helpful, courteous, professional, and you will not have any difficulty if you don't speak Spanish. I enjoyed myself, and will return to this restaurant.

Ciudad Rodrigo was a very nice surprise. The city has great architecture and we loved walking around. The hotel is old but honest. Good price, good location. Breakfast is disspointing but there are not many options around town before 10am.

Good menu choice, friendly staff, not expensive at all. There is a bar in the hotel where you can have a drink first or you can sit outside in the little square which is lovely. My criticism of this place is that they need to sort out the crockery which is very chipped and quite disgusting. We were served wine in a jarrita jug that had big chunks out of it, it was the same with breakfast the crockery was all chipped. Quite frankly I couldn't believe that they had not replace the crockery it was very off-putting.

Tres estrellas muy merecidas. Habitación y baño a estrenar. Al lado de la catedral. Sin ruido. Muy buen buffet de desayuno . Personal atento. Decoración esmerada.uy recomendable.
