Bidra med feedbackVery special restaurant for codefish in a place where you can not expect to eat. Very special cooking in the way and aromas. We had also cheese of local producer. Good choise of wine. Price is not so cheap for the place and service can be a problem for very busy days but also in normal situation. Do not worry to ask twice or recall the maitre since they do not took note and may forgot about your order. So keep an eye on the service
Cozy restaurant in the heart of Civito D’antino where the Danish and Norwegian painters had a large influence on local arts. The restaurant is named after the Danish painter Zahrtmann. There are a lot of paintings and even though the town does my house a museum (as far as I know), this place is a bit like a museum with all the paintings. We called the place a day before arrival, which was very good as they would otherwise be closed. The owner and his wife was very kind to open their restaurant only for us. We did not receive a menu, but was asked if we wanted the traditional menu. We said yes, and even though I am a vegetarian not eating cheese, that was also possible to cater for by the cook. My wife was pregnant at the time, so she also needed the cheese to be pasteurized, which the owner also confirmed it was. All in all superb service with delicious food.

For more than a decade Stefania and Roberto have been dedicated to this enterprise. Great job guys. Classic local cuisine, refined in some cases revisited, in short, for all Gourmet. Certainly recommended.
