Oke Poke Claremont

It is a nice meal, located at the foot of the Boulevard in Claremont! Your Poke bowls are very delicious. The prices for meals are quite fair and not on the expensive side. The waiting lines are short or not available, as it is usually a restaurant. Staff are very helpful and polite. Overall, I had a positive experience at this point. So if someone is in the area, I would recommend visiting this facility. Prices, even, make it worth the trip!

My first experience with Poke and it was a delight. The young gentleman behind the counter guided me to a wonderful Poke bowl with tuna and salmon. I will definitely be back!

Enjoyed the poke bowl. Scallops were a tad tired and the ginger was lumped under the fish, so I accidentally got a mouthful. Not quite wowed like I hoped

A lot of things derail this from being a decent place. Female employee was great- super energetic and friendly, helped out with the annoying format of the menu. The place is musty and makes the not so fresh fish smell even more. Value is a little too low for what you get- I?d say $2-3. Miso soup is essentially hot brown water with tofu and scallions. Completely flavorless. For $30 for 2- people, not really worth it when Claremont has so many better places. Then there was one of the employees hanging over the customer line chatting it up with the other employees. Just feels like a place high school kids would be happy with, but not discerning adults. We?ll pass next time. Overall it feels like a franchise run by someone who doesn?t pay much attention to their business.

My wife and I were out and about on 4th of July and this was one of the few places open, so we stopped in and what a great find! We did the bowls with the mix of salmon and tuna, toppings of our own likings, and then a couple sauces. I tried some of the spicy ones and the end result was fantastic and reasonably priced! We'd stop by again in a heartbeat.
