So, have a gift certificate and we couldn’t use it during Covid their restaurant was closed also for a long while. I called a bunch of times to see if we could use it and couldn’t. Then, we ended up putting it aside you lose track of it. Now they won’t honor the gift certificate because it’s a bit over the 5 years and the guy who answered was a pompous jerk. I’ll never go to this place, EVER! Service: 1

I just had my 5th stay at the Asa Ransom House in Clarence, NY. The historic inn was built in 1799. It is now under new ownership/management as the previous owner retired and sold the inn. It is in good hands. The present owner is also a chef. Our breakfasts were delicious and nutritious both days, and served in a timely manner in a lovely dining room. Our room was spacious, clean, comfortable, and quiet despite facing the street. It had a lovely front porch, and was conveniently located near the electric vehicle charging station (a bonus! . The inn is in beautiful condition, and has lovely gardens. If you like historic inns that have been updated to have modern comfort and conveniences, this is the place for you. You can easily walk to a number of good restaurants nearby, and the inn itself serves dinner on Friday and Saturday during the summer season.

We loved our stay here. It’s dog friendly and it’s close to Niagara Falls. The house and room is well cleaned and thoughtfully decorated. Owner and staff are the epitome of hospitality. Would recommend to anyone! Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5
