Bidra med feedbackWe loved our stay here. It’s dog friendly and it’s close to Niagara Falls. The house and room is well cleaned and thoughtfully decorated. Owner and staff are the epitome of hospitality. Would recommend to anyone! Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5
I went to enjoy the afternoon tea service with my mom and sister and it was perfect! It was a relaxing environment and the food and tea were phenomenal. Also, furniture and utensils are beautiful. I would really recommend it and I'm excited to come back in the future! Service: 5 Location: 5
No internet service , no phone service because its in the Hollow , air cond didnt work properly nor did the TV . Owner couldnt have cared less. Used to stay at Asa Ransom all the time when Mr Lenz owned it always enjoyed it. DONT STAY HERE . Left after one night and was charged over $1000.00 for the whole time I was supposed to stay. My husband and I were very pleased with our experience here, and the Asa Ransom House definitely set the standard of expectations for any other B&B that we visit in the future. Since visiting this B&B, my husband and I will prefer B&Bs over standard hotels in the future. The location was quiet and quaint. The owner/Innkeeper was very pleasant, attentive, and provided easy, polite conversation. We were not sure if we were going to make it there in time for the check in time that we had specified online for our reservation. We emailed them ahead of time to let them know and they were very flexible and accommodating. The room itself was very charming and the bed was AH MAZ ING. Wish I could have taken it home with us. We stayed in the Wilson Greatbatch room. The sleep we had at Asa Ransom House was the best we've had in a long while. We did have a private bathroom, however we did not end up needing to use the shower, so we cannot speak on an experience with that. The room key was very unique with a timeless touch. We were in town for a friend's wedding and the location could not have been more convenient. Our breakfast the following morning was fresh, light and delicious. It had a nice palatable variety including a tangerine, date, and walnut muffin, a slice of mushroom and spinach quiche, a fruit salad with raspberries, strawberries, blueberries and apple slices, a seasoned sausage patty, coffee and orange juice. Both the check in and check out process was very straightforward. Overall, for the experience we received, the price was extremely reasonable. Definitely more expensive than a traditional budget hotel (Super 8, Red Roof Inn, Days Inn, etc), but you definitely get more than what you pay for in the case of Asa Ransom House. We were looking for a relaxing, unique experience and they definitely delivered. Highly recommend if you are in the Buffalo, NY area!
My wife and I stayed here for a long weekend (Summer 2023) while we were visiting Niagara Falls. Fantastic service, beautiful and clean place (stayed in the Blue Willow room), delicious Friday dinner and breakfast each morning. It was about a 40 min drive to the Niagara Falls with only light traffic. I highly recommend, and would stay here again! Rooms: Clean, beautiful, never heard the other guests through the walls, everything functioned. Food drinks: Dinner on the weekend was pricey but worth it! Breakfast each morning was hassle-free and also very good!
