Burger Delight - Clarington

Long wait for a simple cheeseburger, extremely slow and zero effort. Fries are terrible. Poor staff, out of control teens with no care, or incentive to care.A local burger place should destroy a chain burger. Not even close though, you could compare to BK.

Our family dinner outing turned into a disappointing experience at this restaurant. We were charged $97 for a meal that we felt was not worth the price. The service started out well with a polite teenager taking our order, but quickly went downhill when another teenager, with a red hair and no hair net, began messing around behind the counter and being disrespectful towards us. The food was not up to par, with piping hot burgers but cold fries. When we asked for warmer fries, the teenager with the red hair was rude and sarcastic, making us feel uncomfortable. The new fries were overly salty, and we were concerned about their quality. Overall, we felt disrespected and unwelcome at this establishment, and will not be returning. It's a shame, as it used to be a great place, but based on our experience and other recent reviews, it seems like this restaurant may not be around for much longer.

We got poutine, burger and fries. The fries were burnt! When my husband told the kid behind the counter that the fries looks burnt, can you replace it. He refused. We had already paid when our food was getting ready so we just took our food. But after taking one bite of poutine and the fries we threw it in the garbage. The burger was ok. Not great but not as bad as the fries and the poutine. Take your business somewhere else. Food is horrible here.

Save your time! This restaurant has been declining for a while now, but recently it has gotten even worse. Two teenagers working here are not at all sanitary. One of their friends came in, shook their hands, and then touched our food with their bare hands. When I asked if they had their food safety certifications, they had no idea what I was talking about. Their friend was just there to hang out and get free fries. The food tasted worse than ever - dry and unappetizing.

The poutine was really good here but I think the owner change after Covid and the food and service is garbage now. The poutine taste nasty and the fries was not even cook probably . The quantity and quality of the food was zero for what I paid .
