Old Sugar Mill - Clarksburg

This is a great spot if you're short on time or can't drive to the wineries. The quality of the wineries can vary significantly, so choose carefully; sometimes it might be better just to forgo the tasting fee! It seems like an excellent venue for groups and events as well.

Cute, they had food trucks, which made the experience nice cause, I <3 food Two food trucks: one Greek based, didn't see what the other was, they probably change often. Some wine tasting options are very cost effective, some are more expensive but I don't know enough about wine to tell you the difference in taste. Their vendors' selections had a variety of types, something for everyone $15-25 for the samples, some vendors give sample discounts if you buy the bottle).

This place was a pleasant surprise. An old sugar mill retrofitted to hold small businesses, all of which are wineries for the moment. It seems during the weekends they have food trucks outside. Inside, there is a good AC going on for those hot days in the Sac Valley. There are at least 8 wineries in the place, many with nice ambience and decor. Do not try but it seems some of the wineries offer brunch in the weekends. The wine was surprisingly above average and tasty. We had a Delta Blanc that was fruity and with tons of complex flavors. Never thought there will be wineries in this area, and I am pleasantly surprise that several of them are really good. This place housed several of those really good wineries in the area. Definitely a place to visit when around the Sac Delta area.

Awesome destination location with 14 different vendors serving great wine and various wine based refreshments. Food trucks on weekends. Beautiful grounds with area for weddings. Located along the Sacramento River in an old Sugar Mill in river Town of Clarksburg, Ca. This place looks like a Disney attraction place in the vineyards. A MUST VISIT if you are out in the Sacramento, Elk Grove area. Accessible from the Delta area along route 160 or off the 5 across the Freeport Bridge.
