King Mao - Clarksville

I recently relocated from Texas, and several locals suggested this restaurant for great food. They were spot on! The portions are generous, and the food is fantastic. I’ve sampled various dishes, and each one has exceeded my expectations. So far, it's the best place to eat in Clarksville!

I’ve been a regular at this restaurant for some time, but my recent experience was very disappointing. I got home with an order and discovered a large bug in the fried rice. Understandably nauseated, I took all the food back, not wanting my family to eat it. I requested a full refund, but the cooks came out and were very rude, insisting that they had never had any issues in all their years of service. I simply wanted my money back to buy dinner elsewhere, but they were dismissive and even threw the cash back at me. They escalated the situation unnecessarily, especially with other customers in the dining area witnessing everything. I would recommend steering clear of this place or at least being very cautious with what you order. Their attitude completely shifted the moment they had to deal with a refund. DO NOT EAT HERE.

I ordered General Tso's chicken and ended up with orange chicken instead. There was so much breading compared to the chicken that I could barely call it chicken. However, the rice was surprisingly good, and I did appreciate the free egg roll. Unfortunately, I feel like I wasted $13 on a meal I couldn't fully enjoy. I won't be returning!

Just bought garlic broccoli and fry rice and I got more oil than Broccoli and there was more oil than rice in my plate. The rice was hard and under cooked. I will never go back here again even if it’s the last place on earth. I would rather be in the desert eating cactus I think I would live long eating that than eating from this place again! ????????????? The food is great and everybody there is always so nice.
