Tate Island Grill - Clearwater Beach

I had an impossible burger with the option to add vegan cheese, as well as a power bowl with an impossible burger add-on. We also ordered chips and salsa with our meal. The waitress was very friendly and the location was lovely, but the prices were a bit high.

I have not tried any of the food at this restaurant yet, but I did have their dairy-free pina colada and it was amazing. I felt like I was in heaven.

I enjoyed a hot and fresh burger with perfectly melted cheese at this restaurant. It was clear that the dish was not hastily thrown together, but carefully crafted. The burger paired perfectly with the beach view. (Updated from previous review on 2023-03-11)

Who knew that finding a vegan bun in Clearwater Beach would be so hard, especially with so many places now having plant-based patties! While they did serve it with packs of mayonnaise (the “real” Hellmans) on side, there’s other eggless, veg-friendly condiments at the table-so, all is redeemed! They have vegan cheese AND plenty of vegan cocktails, including a great **** Mary. Plus, it’s a gorgeous view, with seating on the patio looking out onto white beaches and tangerine sunsets. Heat lamps are few and far, but they certainly toast it up on a brisker evening. Bring a jumper in case.

We had a wonderful Impossible burger with Violife cheddar cheese. Our server was Vegan herself and was so helpful and sweet. She told us that the restaurant manager is also vegan! Corah gave us tips on other local vegan restaurants as well. Tate's serves lunch and dinner and is located right on the beach at Sandpearl Resort. The view and ambience are great.
