Boss Dog Brewing - Cleveland Heights

Visiting from Florida, we came here because a family member was the live entertainment. We ordered an appetizer and beers right when we came in. The appetizer came out very quickly and was good. We waited 45 minutes before they brought our beers. We asked 3 different staff members in that time and they kept saying they were on the way. We witnessed multiple parties leaving due to the slow service.

I was excited to finally come here. The bar looked great. AND it happened to be trivia night!! That was a huge bonus! It was a little hard to hear where we sat however, the app they used helped with that.The beer was pretty good and they had all different kinds.The price of things were pretty reasonable too.The service..... As we waited for about half an hour for a table. I noticed one server who continually kept coughing on his arm and pretty much into people's stuff as the server walked because their hands were full. I prayed we didn't get that person but we did. Getting the server's attention was extremely hard and we had to plan out our drinks in order to make sure we could order ahead of time for how long it took to come out.We decide to stick to the appetizer menu and try out different things. Over the things that we tried they were just okay. We even ordered wings which I was happy to see the size and the fact that they were a whole real chicken wing. However they came out at room temperature at best. To be honest most of the things we tried were not very warm. We thought about sending them back but then again we couldn't find the server.As I end all my reviews and does not affect the ratingNo military discount

The facility is nice and clean, but the food was moderate. Honestly, a majority of the food that we got was stale and a bit overpriced. A plate of gravy fries with a single plain sausage cost $15. The sausage was dry, like it was cooked 5 or 6 hours beforehand. Other people in my group weren’t that pleased with their meals either.

We had an ok experience. Our bartender was amazing, friendly, knowledgeable, and food service.Food was meh. The cheese fries were dry and not good at all. The pretzel was good but the beer cheese was watery and weak in cheese or beer flavor.

Great food, great beer, owners knowledgeable and friendly! Outdoor patio is sweet, weather permitting!
