Tio Taco Tequila - Clifton

The food at this restaurant has a good taste, but unfortunately they do not offer the choice of selecting the type of tortilla. They mentioned that they always serve corn tortillas, but the tortillas actually taste like flour tortillas.

The corn was delicious, but I was disappointed with the undercooked and hard rice in my burrito bowl. Everything else was great, but the rice left something to be desired.

I ordered two burritos without rice, but both ended up having rice in them.

I ordered the steak fajitas and found the steak to be very tough, making it difficult to chew. The bulldog margarita was also disappointingly smaller than the Corona. Additionally, the salsa served was more like a strange soup with no discernible presence of tomato. Take a look at the photo for reference.

This restaurant is a fantastic new addition to the area. In addition to their wonderful specials, the decor is truly unique and well put together. The loaded shrimp nachos were delicious and did not have an overwhelming amount of toppings like most nachos do.
