Gondolier - Clinton

We had an delicious, very pleasant lunch today at Gondolier Clinton. The restaurant was short-staffed but our server, Justin and the few other employees who were there worked hard to serve everyone a delicious meal. Justin was the only server when we were there and it appeared that he was serving 9-10 tables alone. Everyone at the restaurant while we were there appeared to be served and attended to in as timely a manner as possible. The staff that was there went over and above to serve us and attend to our table as quickly as possible. They were polite, cheerful, helpful and attentive. The only negative in the whole experience was something that Justin and the rest of the staff couldn't help and that was the one table of diners who didn't appear to be sensitive to the fact that the restaurant was short-staffed and the staff was doing their best. We will certainly be back and we hope to have Justin serve us when we're there!! He was awesome!!

I just wanted to say that Courtney is the best waitress I had ever had the pleasure of speaking with and getting waited on. She’s such a beautiful soul and she made sure that my husband and I were very well taken care of and made sure that our food was at satisfactory. She kept coming back and asking us if there was anything we needed and was so pleasant I can’t wait to make another trip here when I come to visit from California again.

We got plenty of breadsticks to start and they were delicious. The Spaghetti and sauce were excellent and service was attentive. Not the best Italian I have ever been to but better than most.

This has become one of our favorite restaurants in Anderson County as of tonight. The restaurant was very clean and the food was delicious and fresh! Our server Courtney was very attentive and by far one of the best servers we’ve ever had. My family and I look forwards to returning in the near future!!

The marinara sauce has changed and I am not really sure I like it. Service was good. Food was good. Too much cutting up and loud ess from the kitchen we could hear them in the dinning room.
