Ocean King Seafood - Clinton

Ordered here for the first time yesterday for lunch. I found this place on doordash, scrolled past it a few times. I've never seen anyone talk about this place. I Took my chances and ordered a 1/2 lbs of crab legs , 1/2 lb of shrimp, 2.5 lbs of crawfish (I really wanted crawfish. Lol) and a few other things. I never order crab legs from anywhere because I never know what the quality will be like after a few times of getting really mediocre quality crab legs from other places where they were small and the meat doesn't come out of the shell. Well it was a different story here at Ocean King Seafood! They were big and the meat came right out!! Wish I had ordered more crab legs. I was happy with the quality of the seafood here. And I only live around the corner off of Alexandria ferry. So I'll be coming back for sure!! Highly recommend.

We waited over more than an hour already for our food and the staff is not that helpful. The table besides us also got their food first although we arrived first and already listed our order yesterday

Food is good, could be a bit salty depending on flavor but the taste is fresh and tasty. However, the first time I ordered 1/2 lb. shrimp I received corn potatoes as the menu mentioned it is included. The second time I ordered 1/2 lb clams , 1/2 lb shrimp with head and 1/2 lb shrimp off. I received a potato in each bag but no corn. I called the store and the lady says no corn comes with 1/2 lb. items. I said ok the first time I ordered it came with it. She says ok maybe another chef but you shouldn't received corn. I then said ok It's also on the menu, you should make the changes to the menu if that's something new you are implementing but my thing is she never took ownership. That's also false advertisement, if she would apologize and give a legitimate reason or explanation then you may not lose a customer. But I don't like the inconsistency and then she act like I made it up...

This is the BEST seafood boil I’ve ever had. I’ve had a lot of boils, but hands down no one can beat it. Extra large shrimp, enormous crab legs and scallops and the sauce makes me want to cry it’s so good. I got juicy sauce with all seasons.

Don't waste your money on the Oyster basket because there's more breading than Oysters. Not worth the $14. Not even worth $5.
