Bidra med feedbackAfter a Sunday in Frankenmuth and looking for drinks and food without a long wait we found this wonderful sports bar with rustic decor, great drinks, a solid menu of fascinating appetizers, burgers, sandwiches and Entrées served by a polite and delightful waiter only one mile or two from the exit ramp of I-75. One thing we will remember and revisit very much when we dare again in this way.
The food is decent, but if you don't sit near the bar, it's really dark in there, not much lighting. Also, with plates all together now have everything you get to eat cardboard boats from which sucks and makes it really hard to enjoy your time.
I heard about this place, but we never tried. We thought it was a strange choice for a wedding sample dinner, but it turned out that it was quite comfortable. It's definitely a bar. With bare food. Burger, Pizza, Nachos, etc. There is a very extensive menu that we first saw online. We narrowed our personal choices on burgers who were impressively large, well plated and satisfied. Not the best burgers we've ever had, but close enough not to be too disappointed. Shall we go back? Yes. It is a bit of a hike for us (40 km round trip) but it is worth the trip in an area of Michigan that is desperately short on good restaurant food.
The service was excellent and the food was amazing. The staff suggested some creative dishes that truly impressed us. We visited on a college game day, and they even changed one of the TVs for us to watch the game we wanted to see. There’s also a play area for kids, which was great since we were there in the afternoon. I absolutely recommend this place!
The bar food is quite good! I tried the mushroom fries, which were large slices of portabella mushrooms, and surprisingly, they were pretty tasty. This location is more suited for young people looking to hang out, play pool, and throw darts. I believe they also have a DJ in the evenings.
