Monterrey Mexican - Clive

This restaurant is quite decent. There was no wait, even during the busy hours of Taco Tuesday. We were seated immediately, placed our order without delay, and the food arrived quickly—definitely a highlight of the experience. The food itself was average; it wasn't bad but it wasn't exceptional either. I tried the fajitas with steak, chicken, and shrimp. The salsa could use some improvement, but it was okay.

I really love this restaurant! There’s definitely no truth to the claims about dirty chips. In fact, I saw them throwing away any chips that weren't good. When he delivered my food, I could even smell the clean soap on his hands.

The bar is quite messy, as if they lack proper storage. I recommend ordering the Presidente in the 48-ounce glass and have your Uber driver ready. The food was unexpectedly impressive. Be sure to try the grilled jalapeños with onions – it’s a dish you won’t want to miss. This place definitely deserves a second visit!

I ordered steak tacos, but what I received was not what I expected. Instead of steak, I got ground beef. The tortillas were undercooked and not tasty at all. Additionally, the ground beef tacos were burnt. I won't be returning.
