As a professional motorcycle rider, I'm always on the lookout for the best café or bakery in the area, and this place is definitely a contender. The coffee is fantastic, and the pastries are delightful! The atmosphere is lovely, too. I just wish they had outdoor seating for beautiful days like today. All in all, I can't wait to return!
I ordered a large latte and tried the light Korean-style not buttercake, as well as a variety of other pastries. I would give it 1 star because the table layout isn’t very visually appealing. However, the small shopping area outside is fantastic. There are plenty of seating areas and walking paths, along with other restaurants nearby. Plus, there is ample parking, making it a really lovely spot.
The staff were incredibly helpful and answered all our questions since it was our first time visiting. The pastry I had was one of the most delicious I've ever tasted in America. The cream was fresh, light, and flavorful, while the puff pastry was baked to perfection. The coffee was robust and flavorful, not watered down at all. I also enjoyed some small white bean balls—though I can't remember their name—but I'm so glad I decided to try them. I can't wait to buy a cake soon!
I have a cake here for my cousin's birthday. The people who work there were really nice, friendly and helpful. Everyone loved the cake. It tasted fresh, was very soft and smooth and not too sweet.
Gateaux simply rises above the rest- their fruit cakes even after all these years still have fruit in each layer- unlike other bakeries that skimp out on in the inside
