This venue has several areas for eating and drinking including an outside deck which helps accommodate different groups from families with young kids, large family groups and adult groups all at the same. One of the rooms had a live performer which also lends well to the ambience of the place. The all day dining menu includes burgers, pizza's, steaks and some fish items. No particular signature dishes - usual "pub" fare so nothing really to write home about in terms of the culinary offering. Portion sizes are average and the prices of some of the sides are a bit rich e.g. $10 for a small bowl of salad leaves. Its more of a drinking hang out with an option to eat rather than a place you would visit for the food. Having said that, the buttermilk fried chicken burger was very tender.Self order with food being served and cleared, so not strong service element either.Surprisingly, several untimed parking spaces available in the area so not as arduous as parking in nearby Bronte.

We all ordered the rump one raw one medium and the other well done . When they arrived the were all well done and very tough . Then to top it off the salad that went with it was lettuce leaves and sliced radish .my daughter ordered the balsamic topping for her steak and it was that thick and all you could taste was vinegar.it was a very tasteless and bad meal

This is a great place for beers or drinks in the beer garden.I have also heard good things about the smoked meats on the weekend.It has a great atmosphere and a big screen to watch games on, has a bar area where you can always get served and if you want to cut the Coogee-Bondi coastal walk short you can get a refreshing drink on the fly.I don't however recommend the food, in the Chloe's defence we did order a chicken parma on cheap steak night. Although the chicken parma was so bad I couldn't even eat it and my partner who isn't a picky eater didn't finish his.The chicken was so dry and tough and I would just avoid otherwise you will be really disappointed. The other thing that wasn't great was we were sitting outside eating and when the staff member came to collect out plates it was obvious we had left quite a lot of out meal and we weren't even asked if we enjoyed our meal or anything like that.

We went here to eat in February and we all said it was average. I returned on Wednesday night with a friend for a few drinks and something to eat and I have to say what a massive improvement! We shared a few seafood dishes for starters and we both had a steak for mains and the food was excellent. I’ll definitely be returning for a steak sometime soon!

Ate here twice in the last couple of weeks for dinner and the food is much better. The other aspects of the venue probably need tweaking at some stage but ok for a pub Families and groups catered for.
