If you have to stop here, make sure it's your absolute last resort. The place is staffed by a slovenly fat idiot mistakenly put in charge by the absentee owner. Left to his own devices, this dolt is argumentative, ignorant and completely oblivious to the basic concept of customer service. The perpetually empty parking lot should be your first clue.

This is the place to get your meat!! Staff is super friendly and very professional! Ground sirloin is much better than the large grocery chains. Rump roast better quality than what you get in the grocery stores. You pay a little more but you really do get what you pay for! It's been years since I have been in this business and I will definitely be coming back!

I visited this meat market for the first time while in the area for a fishing trip . Delighted to find great variety and quality of meats and seasonings . The prices were comparably great to prices I’ve paid in Houston . The staff was incredibly nice and knowledgeable. Had wonderful customer service experience with owner Frank Ghinaudo and Melanie Wulf . I really enjoyed the “ family style” atmosphere .

I really love this little meat market. While the younger staff may not be the friendliest, they consistently offer the freshest and finest selections of meat! I always take my family and friends who visit from out of town to Dixie Meat Market.

I've been a customer of Frank's for years, but I had a disappointing experience recently. He refused to take back $24 worth of avocados that were simply awful and unusable. Because of this, I won't be returning to this location. Losing my business means he’s missing out on my $500 a week. It's a shame to see such cowardice.
