Hilton Head Diner

A basic diner: excellent food and service. Great for comfort food

First time eating there and lived here 10 years. Great food homemade dessert. You can tell everything is from scratch. A must do while in town

Was a bit disappointed. Sub was dry. Didn't have much flavor. But the chili and chips were good.

Great home cooked style menu. Our waitress, Pricila, was very kind. We will definitely atop back in when we are in the Hilton Head area.

I wanted to like the Hilton Head Diner. What is better than a true diner experience? The atmosphere was reasonably true to the genre, with a nice counter and decent booth seating. The menu was extensive and seemed reasonably priced. The service was also very good, with a coffee served quickly. Good expectations. Unfortunately the food let the place down. I had the country fried steak and eggs for breakfast. The ‘steak’ seemed to be a breaded patty of some indeterminate ‘meat’ that was taken out of the freezer shortly before cooking. The sausage gravy was goopy. The eggs and hash browns were fine. The rye toast was good. These last items took the food rating from a two to a three, but if scrambled eggs and toast is redeeming your food, well…… If I go back, I’ll try something else.
