Pizzeria Prima Strada - Cobble Hill

This was our first time at this location but we have eaten at the Cook Street location many times and loved it. This location is very large and has a nice comfortable atmosphere with large windows. We ordered our usual pizzas, Fungi, and Margarita which are usually super tasty but this time they we not so great. The pizzas are usually drizzled with olive oil but these ones were drenched. So much so that it was running off and pooling on the plate. The crust was also thicker than usual which wasn't that big of a deal, it was just much chewier than we are used to and didn't have as many nice crunchy bubbles that you expect with Neapolitan style pizza.

We went on the second day they were open and the service was too slow. We trust they'll get faster but it was surprising given how many employees they had working and how few other tables were there. It took 45 minutes to get our pizzas. That being said, they were delicious as always when they finally did arrive. Looking forward to going again.

It is in a strip mall, but once inside the ambiance is fantastic! Our server was excellent. She recommended the meatballs, and they were amazing. The house wine is local and was also very good. We highly recommend this great little spot!

Had a great prima strada experience same as the ones I've had in Victoria definitely recommend

I was visiting with my family on Vancouver Island and I must say this place is excellent. My sister has very good taste and my last night we went and had a marvellous dinner and superb, professional service. If I lived here I'd b in trouble for I would want to go there often! I would highly recommend this establishment. The pizza is of a thin crust, the salads are creative and fresh. Even the appetizers are well thought out. Go here! I know you won't regret it.
