Bidra med feedbackFantastic food in a very rural area. They cut their own steaks, use local produce, and bake wonderful cakes. Worth the drive.
We love the Stronghold Cafe. The Owners/Operators are great people who love what they are doing. Their food is fresh, beautifully prepared, and served with a smile. I usually get their fish sandwich, as I am a pescatarian and it is really good. I have also had their portabella burger, also amazing, and their huevos rancheros, another favorite meal of mine. I took my family here when they were in town and they loved it. I am one of the owners of the DreamCatcher Inn at Chiricahua in Pearce, AZ, and we send customers to the Stronghold Cafe for lunch all the time. We also recommend them for dinner on Thursdays, when we take the evening off and do not serve dinner. The only thing I wish is that they would be open on Wednesdays, so I can send our guests there for dinner, the other evening we do not serve dinner. Keep up the good work.
The food is fresh and made to order. That is a positive and negative. The food is delicious, but you must have patience. The hours are also not the best. But for the area, the service and hours are standard.
One of the most quaint and delicious little cafes stuck between some farms that I've ever been to. Scenery is almost as beautiful as the souls of those that work there.
Coming here was an awesome experience for me. It's off the beaten path a bit, but when I went there, even though I was 1 of 2 customers we sat and talked the 4 of us up until closing. The owners served us drinks and a great sandwich. The food is high quality and the price is good. The people cool as heck and the service is great. It's very clean too.I wasn't hungry when I went but I wish I hadn't eaten for days because I want to order a full meal there one day. Until next time stronghold!
