Came here for dinner last week and found it a bit underwhelming. The staff and service wasn't particularly inspiring most of the staff seemed pretty unhappy and didn't really seem like they wanted to be there, one member of staff however (who was maybe the owner) was very welcoming. The food was decent enough but very overpriced for the area (most of the mains are at least £20). Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

Lovely restaurant in the Main Street in Cockermouth. The owner and his wife as well as their service are friend and helpful. The food was very good! Having just been in Turkey 6 months ago, I must say the food in this restaurant was better than in Turkey. We ordered a few starters and mains and everything was absolutely delicious! My personal favorites were: sigara boregi (filo pastry rolls filled with feta), Ali nazik kebab (lamb kebabs on a bed of aubergine and pepper yogurt).
