Bidra med feedbackAltough it was a bit harsh finding it, it really was worth it! Everything was perfect!! If I really need to make a comment, the timing could be a bit better. But this is really a detail on the whole evening! We went for a shared dish formula, which was really nice. We chose for mix of european style food as wel as european+portuguese final touch, as wel as portuguese typicals. And all of them had an amazing taste. Together of course with a good glass of white/red wine/port. For the rest, the kidness, the oenologic knowledge, the charming approach, price,… and so on… Really perfect!! My next stay at Coimbra, I’ll obviously return for more!
We shared a schrimp appetizer along with Fresh tomato and cheese with pesto sauce and a medium rare sirloin steak.Plenty of food for two ,.Waiter was helpful with our wine selction and we thought this was a great value for the money aboout 50 E go early or make a reservation , place was empty when we arrived around 7:30 ,there wee no tables open by the time we left.
We were somewhat disappointed after reading the reviews here. Over the last ten days we have spent in Portugal, we have had several better meals. Servers were wonderful and the prices fair. We stuck with several small plates such as mushrooms, croquettes, cheese, and a small steak that was mistakenly called veal on the English menu. All were good, but the steak was not as tender as one would hope. Desserts were fine, as were the ports that were offered as a pairing. The selection of wine was broad. Decor, which is not very important to me, was uninspiring, at best. As was mentioned by another reviewer, the place is hard to find, and had I not seen the previous review which mentioned the two flights of stairs, I might still be looking for the place. Look up one flight from street level. After dining at some extraordinary restaurants in Evora and Castelo Branco, I would rate this place average.

O ambiente é muito bom e amou o quarto. Alguns lanches podem ser mais bem-confeccionados, por exemplo, em termos de tempero, meu molho para os sutiãs é melhor: . a massa dos pastéis de queijo, muitos bons, deve ser mais crocante. os ovos rotos são muito bons, mas o morcego é quase uma miragem. as tiras com queijo de serra, muito bom também, precisava de mais tempero. Mas em um almoço de velhos amigos, parece ser detalhes. As sobremesas eram boas, pelo menos as que eu podia saborear.
