O Ceyra - Coimbra

O Ceyra is an excellent restaurant serving a good selection of prata do dia. The food is well prepared and the wine selection is also very good. Great value for the price

A casual visit turned into a long pleasant lunch, after the very warm welcome by Luis-Philippe, the owner whose wife was the chef. We left promising ourselves to make this casual restaurant a regular spot for us, just minutes out of Coimbra.

Love this restaurant. We’ve recently discovered it. Smart, clean and generally very friendly service. Great fresh omelette, salad and fries. Many thanks. Parking can be tight but if you look around, a space can usually be found somewhere nearby. Recommend getting there early for lunch Monday to Friday, as lots of local people pile in, which adds to its lovely buzzy atmosphere!
