Bidra med feedbackLooking for a light lunch in Coimbra, we passed a raised area with several tables set out and one empty table, which whilst in full sun, was shaded under a large umbrella. We bagged the table, but could not work out the site of the cafe. However, soon a very pleasant and hard working staff member appeared with a menu from the cafe which turned out to be down the side stairs. The food was good, the views of passing bustle in the town was excellent and it turned out to be a very good spot. Watch out for the wall art as a marker
We decided to sit in pepe kebab because location was really nice and prices seemed decent. Big mistake!! We ended up waiting 1 hour and 30 minutes for our dishes, and when I came to waitress to ask what happened to our food, she was so confused and thought she has served us already. When we finally got our food, we went to pay and another waitress was even more confused and claimed that somebody of us did not pay for the kebab when actually each one of us already paid for their food... she got so lost in calculations and the situation got loud and really uncomfortable. next time i will be in coimbra, i will stay away from this place for sure.
This kebab restaurant, with plenty of outdoor seating and in the town centre, offered a great place to stop off at for a light lunch and a drink. Apart from the usual kebab style offerings, they had very good Falafels which were very tasty and well presented
I liked the food. The place has a small terrace, it was nice to enjoy it after the long walk. We didn't expect to get a great food there but we were surprised. Portions big and tasty meal. Good service, good price.
I was drawn to Pepe Kebab by its lovely terrace overlooking the picturesque Praca do Comercio. I ordered a kebab salad which was very good generous portion, tasty kebabs and fresh veges. Service was efficient, friendly and professional. The menu is extensive and the prices are very reasonable.
