Rio Mondego - Coimbra

I think we can find many places to eat wonderfully in Coímbra, but my wife and I spent a great dinner here in Rio Mondego. Good price, great food and excellent service from one of the kindest waitress we've ever met in Portugal. It wasn't crowdy and I feel a little sad for that because it is a very fine place to enjoy Portuguese food.

This was a great find. Lovely service and excellent food. The 10 euro menu was excellent value and the food delicious, especially the potatoes served with a huge fish or two pork chops. Will definitely return.

Thanks to Michele, good recommend. We had a very nice lunch. The dishes are all very delicious. It’s my first time to be here, but they are all very friendly to give us advice. The price is suitable and well worth it. Very good service .

The restaurant is in the magic praça do comércio few steps from the river. Good atmosphere in the place also with the staff members. Especially Michele has been perfectly carefull to every needs, always smiling and putting a lot of love in what she was doing. The food was great to,very tasty and good presentation, I raccomend bacalao com nata.
