Bidra med feedbackMy wife and I enjoyed this restaurant very much. It’s a cozy place with friendly staff and well-prepared local food. There’s no music and it isn’t fancy, but when you have been travelling for awhile it’s what the doctor ordered.
Coimbra is a gem of a city. Walking its steep, stone paved street to one of the oldest universities in the world located at the top of a hill, Coimbra University, can be a serious challenge and you can become extremely hungry. No need to worry, though. There is a small restaurant at Rua da Sota No. 9 called Restaurante Vitoria that could certainly satisfy your hunger with delicious grilled entries fish and meats) with a home cooking flavor unmistakenly excellent. The grilled, optimally fresh, seafood is cooked to a perfect criteria. Simply accompanied by small, tender boiled potatoes and a mixed salad, you cannot aspire to a better dish than this one. And then, their menu contains one good item after another. The owner is always present and service is superlative. Do me a favor: whenever you visit Coimbra do not hesitate to eat at this restaurant open for lunch and dinner.
I enjoyed the veal, nicely cooked, fries were a bit disappointing but the salad nice and crisp. Good wine selection and great service with some nice information on my free Jenopiga brandy/wine liquer and chestnuts. Recommended.
The food was okay but my parents were charged €9 for half a litre of house red wine. It was an absurd price! Never going back and do not recommend it.
Simpatia e afabilidade de toda a equipa. Excelente localização, limpeza e relação qualidade preço . Acolhedor e altamente recomendável.
