Bidra med feedbackUnique rustic bbq restaurant. It’s no frills, has great bbq and a certain charm to it. Well worth checking out when in the area. Repeat customer and will be back again!
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Round Up Barbecue, and I can 't express enough how impressed I was with my experience. From the moment I walked through the doors, I knew I was in for a treat. The atmosphere at Round Up Barbecue is absolutely fantastic. It has a warm and inviting rustic decor that immediately transports you to a cozy, country-style setting. The dimmed lighting and the subtle scent of wood smoke in the air set the stage for a delightful barbecue feast. Now, let 's talk about the food. The menu at Round Up Barbecue is a meat lover 's dream come true. They offer a wide variety of meats and barbecue dishes, and I was truly spoilt for choice. I opted for their signature smoked brisket, and it was a revelation. The meat was incredibly tender, smoky, and bursting with flavor. The homemade barbecue sauce was the perfect accompaniment, adding just the right amount of tang and sweetness to each bite. The side dishes were equally outstanding. The mac and cheese was creamy and indulgent, the coleslaw was fresh and tangy, and the baked beans were rich and flavorful. I appreciated the attention to detail in every dish, and it was evident that the kitchen takes pride in their craft.
Sad to say this is one of the worst bbq places I’ve eaten at. The brisket was served to use pretty cold/ room temperature. The Mac and cheese was spicy? I’m sure others would like that but I wish it said that on the menu. The corn bread was dry, cold, and clearly pre made packaged corn bread. The meat was smoked but it tasted like chemicals. Maybe a different method of smoking but it was not good, even with the bbq sauce they served. (Which didn’t taste like bbq at all) My husband loved the Cole slaw.
All the food is good but my favorite is the pound brisket amazing taste
Okay this bbq is fire! Obviously not as good as the best in Texas but this is more than sufficient for upstate NY. We loved the ribs and sausage. Brisket could have been more juicy but not bad. Service was excellent. Good explanation of the menu and food came out fast . Cole slaw and Mac and cheese were very satisfying too. All this….for a seriously great price. Absolutely worth a stop if you’re in the area.
