Ozzie Bakes - Coldwater

This is the best bakery. Its more than a bakery. They have more than sweets. They have savory. Excellent foods, homemade, delicious.

What a privilege to meet Sue and sample her from-scratch goodies on a trip through Coldwater. Her handmade croissants are flaky, buttery goodness, and her danishes are the bomb! I couldn't take a slice on the road, but her cheesecakes are gorgeous works of art. Can't wait to taste it! She's got so many goodies it's hard to choose. But the best part of this bakery is Sue herself. She likes to visit, loves talking about her baking, and her story of how she came to America, specifically Coldwater, is fascinating. By the end of our visit, I felt like I'd made a sweet, new friend. Ozzie Bakes is well-worth the drive from Anywhere, USA.

I've been around the world and LOVE cheesecake. This is the BEST- the VERY BEST German Chicolate Cheesecake I've ever had. The texture is so tricky when chocolate is added and this place nails it!!! This lady is a Goddess!!!

What a gem! Wanted to try everything. We settled for quiche, ham cheese croissant and several muffins for later. All delicious! 10 stars!
