Don Chico's - Collinsville

I highly recommend this Mexican restaurant! The food is delicious, the service is quick for takeout, and the atmosphere is great. It's perfect for a casual lunch and the prices are very reasonable, with the average meal costing between $1 and $10 per person. Be sure to try the salsa, it's a must-have dish!

The food is quite tasty, but the service is even better! The drinks are also very good. It's a great spot to grab lunch or dinner. My favorite dish is the chicken nachos, although I recommend they make the goat cheese a bit thicker instead of thinning it out with milk. This can make the tortilla chips too soft and soggy. The restaurant is very kid-friendly and wheelchair accessible. Overall, it's a great place to dine in.

The only Mexican aspect of the restaurant was the staff.

I'm not sure what went wrong today, but there was a child who was on his phone the entire time and the music was very loud. Our kids play their baby shark song very quietly, but this child was young and disruptive. The food was not impressive, despite everyone talking highly about this place. The beef tacos had no flavor and the cheese was bland. I would not recommend this restaurant. Additionally, the staff did not clean the tables around us and the place was just dirty.
