El Asadero - Coloma

Fantastic food, on par with anything from Chicago or NWI. Great service and friendly atmosphere. 10/10 would go back.

We have been here a few times and the service was terrible last night, the server dropped off our food and and the next time we seen him he had a mop and broom in his hand stirring up a mess around our table while we were eating. Our server never asked us once, how is your food or would you like a refill. We are not high maintenance customers, all you had to was ask one time if we needed anything. Just like one other customer stated in their review, All their food tastes the same whether it 's chicken, steak,shrimp or ground beef ,it is true, all their food does taste the same.

The God's honest truth is this is the best Mexican I've ever eaten at. I live on the east coast of Michigan and would consider moving to the west coast just to keep eating here. Try the Chile releno. When we visited the area this was the first restaurant we tried. It was so good we ate here all three days.

Delicious Texas rice, awesome margarita and attentive kind staff. Love it!

The food was really good, the portions are good sized, and you definitely get your money's worth. The restaurant was pretty busy during our visit, and it was extremely noisy, making conversation very difficult, to the point it was hard to hear our friends sitting at the same table as us. Service was extremely lacking, though. Our party consisted of myself, my husband, and another couple. We were trying to give our server and the staff the benefit of the doubt with it being busy, but it started getting harder to do as the evening progressed. We were seated pretty quickly, and our orders were taken shortly after that, which was great but then we waited for over an hour for our food to make it to the table (nothing elaborate or crazy was ordered), we started to suspect that maybe our server forgot to turn our order in or maybe our food was given to another table on accident. Either way, we sat and watched as a number of different groups got seated, ordered, had their food delivered, and paid their tabs all during the time we were waiting for our food. Once we got our food, things were missing and forgotten, so we were not impressed with the service at all.
