Bidra med feedbackYummy Yaki is an excellent dining spot. The prices are reasonable, and I really appreciate the service and the staff. The new waitress, Suki, is fantastic—she's very friendly! I highly recommend this restaurant as my top choice!
When I 'm in Colorado Springs this is a must visit. The Lonnie special is great! I don 't normally ever eat cole slaw, but whatever they do to theirs it 's great. Service is always good and friendly.
I love this little diner on South Nevada. The customer service is superb. The wait staff is always friendly and happy to see me. The chef prepares very tasty food and at a really reasonable price. Remember, it's a small diner and not a gourmet restaurant and with that you can relax in an authentic atmosphere and enjoy great food.
My family I have been going here for many many years and it has remained consistently amazing. The food is always delicious, and for the price it is you really can't beat it. Would recommend this place to anyone!
The menu was quite limited, featuring a selection of yakitori dishes paired with various accompaniments. Each yakitori plate consists of two skewers of chicken served with a bowl of white rice and a drizzle of soy sauce mixed with sugar and a special sauce. We ordered both the yakitori and seafood platters. While the yakitori was well-prepared and flavorful, we were a bit puzzled by the seafood dish. It mostly resembled what you might find at Long John Silver's—fried and baked items like scallops, butterfly shrimp, and pieces of white fish, with a side of average onion rings. Although I usually enjoy fried food, everything we tried was surprisingly bland and lacking in seasoning. I understand that frying is not the healthiest option, but roasted food should still have some flavor, which was unfortunately missing. Thankfully, we had mustard sauce, sweet and sour sauce, and tartar sauce to enhance the taste. The strangest yet most intriguing item on the plate was the coleslaw. It was simply dry, thick-cut cabbage—some pieces smaller than sprouts—with a light application of coleslaw dressing on top. Surprisingly, even my coworker, who usually doesn’t care for coleslaw, liked it. In the end, the price was reasonable (around $20), and the restaurant appeared clean and well-kept, but I’m not sure if I would return. I’d prefer to find a place that offers more variety and focuses on dishes that better complement their main offerings.
