Izumi Express - Columbia County

This place permanently raised my expectations for any restaurant with Express in the name. I ended up coming twice for lunch during World Series week to grab a hibachi bowl a roll of sushi. Flavorful and filling options all over the menu. It 's quite busy at peak lunch time so make sure you order ahead!

I have eaten at a thousand Asian places all over the country because of my job. This is one of the worst. I had a teriaki chicken bowl. The guy who took my order said they had snow peas. They gave me zucchini which I don't like. He didn't care. The chicken is terrible rubbery and loaded with fat. The steamed rice seems old. Don't waste your time. You are better off with a microwave dinner from wallyworld. Yuck!

Delicious food. They start cooking as soonnas you order so your food is hot and fresh. I got the Teriyaki chicken Bento Box with a shrimp tempura roll ???? ????

Good presentation, but food had no taste. We try hibachi chicken and steak, avocado roll, salmon avocado roll and hibachi steak and none of it have any flavor meat was dry.

Food was ok to good. Very clean. Very fast service. Only draw back was meat was little low on taste, the amount of meat was great! I would have gave 5 stars but my vegetable tasted like a grill and grill cleaner, I know the taste because of grill cleaner because it happen at another restaurants kinda stings the tongue and gave a very bitter taste. First time there, I will give them a second chance.
