Great chicken!!!!! The sides are just ok. The chicken is great!! Did I say that already? LOL

OMG. This place is amazing. I've waited in long lines for the chicken, and never regretted it. Coating is crispy, spicy, and the fried chicken is tender and juicy. Potato wedges crunch with a similar spice. The candied yams and biscuits were great, but I would steer clear of sides like coleslaw, that seemed like the came out of an industrial bucket. Fried trout was delicious. I love ChickNFriends!

Hhhhmmm. Mmmmaaannnn...this was an ok trip. I got 2 piece whiting fillet meal, it was great; dabbed a little hot sauce on and it was wonderful. I got collard greens, mac n cheese, and yam. <br/ <br/ The yams were disappoint they werent really cooked. The yam were cubed (like cheese cubes) and sitting in bown sugar water. I don't ike crunchy yam/ sweet potatoes its just WRONG!!! The mac n cheese was horrible, horrible, horrible. Its that ultra creamy, nasty velveeta, bland yuck!!! The greens had a sweet taste but it was good.<br/ <br/ The chicken and waffles was AAAMMMAAAZZZIINNNGGG!!! The lemon cake was very moist and had good flavoring. The sweet potatoe pie was ok. I was overly super excited about pie and then I tasted it and was a little disappointed. <br/ <br/ Overall the meats are good the sides, and extras were lacking. I'll def be putting my cubed yams in a pot and be cooking them.

Awesome fried chicken. Really great, crisp, meaty fried chicken! They specialize in carry out with an emphasis on fried chicken and lake trout. I tried both the lake trout was very good (crisp, nicely fried, not greasy), but I'm a real fried chicken fan at heart. And this is some great stuff! Crisp, savory fried chicken, nice and meaty pieces, pressure fried and freshly prepared! Not greasy at all. I would highly recommend this if you like fried chicken and would place this in my top 5 fried chicken I've ever had. You may want to call ahead with an order the chicken is prepared fresh with little chicken left sitting around. The seasoned potato wedges are great nicely seasoned rectangles, not the typical steak fries that are well cooked and are not greasy, either. I've read rave reviews of their cakes and pies, as well, and am looking forward to trying their pie later!

Good food, large portions and flavorful! We enjoyed it. We actually bought too much thinking we would not have time to pick up or make lunch tomorrow. Now we have food for like 3 days. : I'm not complaining!
