The Torpedo Room - Columbus

I ordered the "Through the Fog," a cocktail inspired by a London Fog latte. It was enjoyable, though I think it could use a touch of lavender syrup to enhance the flavor. My other drink, "Parlay," was quite unique with its matcha flavors. The bartender was friendly and engaging. One downside is that there’s a chance you might overhear movie spoilers. We had to cover our ears at one point because other patrons were discussing the film we were about to see. The prices are a bit high, so I wouldn't make this a regular stop, but I would definitely return for a drink or two.

Such an interesting concept and even more thoughtfully executed. It really is a unique little bar that is built around a fun atmosphere for guests. The staff is also extremely nice and knowledgeable. I got an alcoholic slushies and got to sit next to a porthole I'm not sure many people get to say that's something they've experienced in their life so on experience alone 5/5 and once you add in that the drink I had was also immaculate I wish I could rate them higher

I was excited to go here at first, but then was surprised to find that this place shows the movie 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea on loop, featuring Captain Nemo played by an actor in heavy blackface pretty uncomfortable to watch. Also, it took 25+ minutes for us to get an order of Ohio Nachos covered in room temp and congealing cheese sauce.

One word HORRIBLE! The staff was horrible the food was worse. The only way they survive is they are beside the movie theater.

It's really disappointing. The Gateway is one of my favorite places; I'm a member and watch a lot of movies there. However, this offshoot that claims to be a bar/restaurant feels more like an extension of the movie theater snack stand, just with seating. If they want to be taken seriously as a bar and restaurant, they need to offer more than just the typical snack bar items. They should use real silverware instead of plastic, and they really need to keep their inventory stocked because they are often out of a lot of things. It's becoming an ongoing issue.
