Windward Passage - Columbus

This place is a jewel. If I didn't know better, I'd say I was in a few little locals on the coast. A cool bartender, good service and great food. Lol. I don't want people to know my secret.

That's a funny place! Wouldn't expect to get such great food from a strip-mall, but go inside and find a wait (no reservations, but it's a quick wait), a welcoming bar area and extended dining area Great food, the staff is wonderful and the ambience is casual. Come early and enjoy cocktails and oysters at the bar and then sit on delicious mussels, meat and other fish.

This place was absolutely delicious...if more about the taste of food than a trendy atmosphere this is the place for you! We had the best rib and baked cod to perfection. The Coquille st Jacques app was tasty and rich and their warm yeast rolls were dreamy. The absolutely only food I wasn't a big fan was the Ranch Dressing was too much of a Mayo base for me... but that's just me. Super clean space and could use background music. We will be back!!! Dinner for 2...appetizer and 2 glasses of wine was only 80 dollars...kudos windward!!!

One of the best secrets in Columbus! There are not many of these wonderful old GEMS more... And it's EXACTLY, what the more than 50 of us see in the eye of our mind when we think Seafood Restaurant . The waiting staff is incredible. Run, DON 'T WALK to Windward Passage!

This was the first time eating here for my Wife and I. First off our server Andrea was very friendly, professional and very enthusiastic about the food! The special we had was Grouper and Red Snapper, we got them both Grilled and we truly feel that was the freshest fish we have ever had, grilled seasoned to perfection!! Better than any of the “high dollar” seafood restaurants around. Our appetizers were the Oysters Rockefeller and their “angels on horseback” deep fried oysters wrapped in bacon! Still the freshest, best tasting oysters we’ve had anywhere!! Needless to say we’ll be back soon and often!
