Olympic View Golf Club - Colwood

A great golf course. Beautiful fairways, greens are firm and in great condition. Play positional off the tee rather than long drives. I think I only hit driver 2-3 times. Most of the time 3-wood or hybrid was just right. The only improvement I would suggest is more signage. From the cart pickup location, there’s no signs directing you up to the parking lot so you can pick up your clubs so we drive around a bit. Also there’s no signs directing you from the green to the next tee. No problems most of the time, but there was a par 3 we drove right by the tee-box as we only saw a small sign further up directing carts to drive right up to the green. We were looking at the sign further up on the right, so totally missed the tee-box on the left lol. Didn’t really mind, but it took us 10 mins to figure out and so of course the group behind us had to wait. We mentioned it to one of the staff, but he said minimal signage is intentional as they wanted the course to blend in with nature. I think there’s a balance to be made here as newcomers to the course will find more signage more helpful and speed them up navigating the course. Will definitely be back for more rounds here

Fantastic course in suburban Victoria. First class service, pro shop and course. Greens and fairways are in great condition. Great course to walk and enjoy the scenery. Our after round beer and burger was excellent. The porches over looking the course are super nice, especially on a sunny and warm day that we enjoyed.

Played the course the other day on our honeymoon and we really enjoyed this course. Played with some very nice members who were helpful on the course. Beautiful landscape. Greens, fairways and bunkers were all in great shape. No complaints from us coming from Regina, would definitely play again if the chance comes up. Went up for a bite to eat in the beautiful clubhouse afterwards and the food was good with great service.

I had my dream wedding at Olympic View in September 2022. We chose the venue as we enjoy golfing there a few times a year and also because we enjoy eating at the restaurant and have never been disappointed. From the beginning of the booking process Katrina the Event Manager was an absolute dream to work with. She always got back to me so promptly, worked with me through changes leading up to the wedding and was so much support during the wedding day. The food, service, bartenders, and the gorgeous venue, guests were saying it was the best wedding they’ve been to and I couldn’t have done that without Olympic View and Katrina.

Driving range is awesome!! Even tho I suck at golf I still had a really good time! Gives off professional but still chill vibes! Perfect for me
