Piccolo Suizo - Comala

All four of us had the paella which was overdone and very dry. However, everything else was delightful. The salads were excellent and well presented, the wine choice was very good, the waiter was helpful, and the chef came out to greet us. So, I...would go back and try another main dish.

Had the pleasure of eating lunch at this amazingly clean restaurant. It is like an oasis in a small town. We entered through the door into an air conditioned area. The restaurant owners are from Switzerland and offer an authentic fondue that was delicious. They...have an open grill kitchen and in addition to offering an air conditioned section they have an open air area if you desire an outdoor ambiance. Great service, great food.

I missed this SWISS place last visit but made a point this time. Everyone I knew who visited Comala spoke highly of it. Not only is the menu amazing, but the service is impeccable. That alone makes for a reason to visit. Also, I made...a reservation online through the website link here. I like to know ahead of time that the place is open etc. The 'bratwurst ' ordered by two of us was great, with an onion sauce garnish. The shredded potatoes along side were al dented in the middle but very good. Vegetables were perfect. I had to have the fondue. One size fits all, that is, it 's meant to serve two so we all dug in. Truly delicious, but not more exceptional than the mix I get at World Market. Silly of me, the other items are really what excell. The other couple ordered the goulash soup and raved. Plenty of paprika, tender meat, a total delight. They also shared the precious Caesar salad: vertical stalks of dressed romaine corralled in a fried cheese wafer. Extra dressing and Parmesan were welcomed.

We always enjoy dining at Piccolo Suizo. The service is consistently excellent and the food lovingly prepared and presented. Today Chef Daniel prepared a beautiful steak tartare for me right at the table. With a fresh green salad, it was a perfect lunch. Thanks Chef....See you soon xxx

I went there with my family and happened to be Sunday, the day was hot and they immediately turned on A/C for us , we were the first to arrive and we're treated like kings. We chose the paella and it was delicious! It wasn't...just a ton of rice, actually very rich combination of seafood and meat. We had a jar of a decent clericot. I really liked this place. Location is also so convenient.
