Ono Hawaiian Bbq - Compton

I loved coming here. Food is delicious. A mixture of salty and sweet flavors. Seafood and chicken were finger licking. Rice were normal, salad too. The Mac salad was the second better thing in the dish. It's affordable and the places is full of good hearing music.

Island Fire Chicken is by far my favorite. They did a great job of cooking it here not excessively sauced and not a pound of onions either, it was just right and tasted even better. The interior does look a bit old and dated especially the colors but the tables were clean and there was open seating everywhere inside. Parking: It's a shopping center parking lot so there is plenty of spaces, the closest to the food or shopping may be unavailable but there will be space for sure

I remember this restaurant from when I lived in California back in 2016. I resided in San Pedro, so I believe this was the closest one to me. I'm not sure if this is the exact location, but it appears to be the same. My favorite dish was the tuna macaroni salad.

I usually call for my food and then pick it up. No waiting!

I went to the restaurant today and ordered chicken katsu, but it did not come with katsu sauce. Do I have to order that separately? In any case, the meal was bland and dry without it. Disappointing experience at Ono's.
