Mai Thai Ii - Concord

I placed my order thru postmates which was fine. The issue was that the restaurant sent burnt food instead of making a fresh batch. The tast of burnt rice is not acceptable at all. Who does that?? The ginger wings that had no taste of ginger was also burnt. My husband ordered stuffed chicken which he enjoyed. I will never order from here again... I can burn my own food. EPIC FAIL

I went there excited after reading the google reviews. The food was okay at best. Pad thai lacked peanuts. The shrimp umami was very mild, and garlic chives were replaced with scallions. I found the food bland, something I can never say about thai cuisine. On the plus side, the portion is really good. As of early September 2021, it is take out only. You'll spend about $40 for a meal for two.

Ordered for first time thru door dash. They give you an AMAZING amount of food for the price. Got the Pad Thai since it should be a popular dish and a staple of most thai american restaurants. Sad to say it did not taste as good as it looked. It was definitely missing some flavors as all I could taste was the tartness of tamarind in the noodles. Had to add in some fish sauce to doctor it up. Pic below is of the pad thai after I had mixed it up. The presentation was prettier before I doctored it up and mixed it.

One of the best Thai food places I’ve ever had. They had many unique dishes that I was excited to see and try. I got the pineapple fried rice and was surprised to find out that it was served right in a pineapple. The food was appealing to look at and tasted great. I would definitely go back to try more of their food.

The food was incredible! We started with ginger wings and fresh rolls as appetizers, and the crab Rangoon was generously stuffed. I would give the Pad See Ew five stars – it was spicy and absolutely delicious. The portion sizes were fit for a king! Plus, the staff is always friendly and helpful. Overall, I rate the food 5 out of 5!
