Bidra med feedbackEvery time we visit, food and service is excellent. Deliciously tender meats and lovely presentation. Always a fish choice too. Becoming a favourite!!
A nice little hotel overlooking the bridge and the river. The rooms were very comfortable and the breakfast was more than sufficient. As with many places in France no elevator, but the restaurant offered a varied amount with good food.
We ate in the restaurant while we were at the hotel (review published). The restaurant is an underestimated jewel. It offers a range of food from pizzas and chips to more sophisticated French dishes of consistently good quality. The roasted vegetables were delicious and the potato gratin was the lightest and fluffiest we ever tasted. The tuna steaks were excellent. The Ingwerbratenapfel with Kurzbrei and Mousse was beautiful. It houses people with food intolerances (no milk or egg in the mousse or Meringue! . We would argue that it is the best restaurant in the area, surpass even (the posh l'Estaminet near Esse. We'll definitely eat here again if it's close.
Have eaten here several times, so they review is based on many visits. The Plat du Jour has always been good - particularly a Daube de Boeuf - and good value. Their pizza's are also good, I really enough one with snails & garlic butter - but prices are on the firm side (say 14 euro's),Have always avoided the pre-prepared buffet starters & salads, but they look like budget bought in type, and perhaps 'sit around' on display for too long. The inside dining room lacks atmosphere but their riverside terrace is pleasant if the weather allows.
Part of a hotel, this restaurant and bar never seems to close. It's extremely friendly and welcoming despite it's narrow pavement entrance and adjacent traffic. The pression beer choices are the best in town and the restaurant meals excellent. The service is exceptional and friendly.
