The Castle Inn - Congleton

This friendly local pub offers excellent home-cooked main courses and features three authentic ales. We appreciated the attentive service and quick delivery. The portion sizes were generous, making it a perfect stop for lunch before we explored the nearby National Trust Biddulph Grange Gardens. We look forward to returning on our next visit.

We had the pleasure of dining at the castle yesterday, and it was an absolutely amazing and delicious experience. The cheesecake was to die for! The service from the staff was lovely and professional. We had a wonderful time and a lot of fun.

I had a truly delightful meal today. The steak and ale pie was incredibly flavorful, and the chips were perfect—plenty in number, too! The service was warm and friendly; we felt genuinely welcomed. I highly recommend bringing friends along for the experience.

Came for a Sunday roast after a walk on the cloud. the food was fantastic (the cauliflower cheese was a group lover) and the staff was very friendly and attentive. there were problems with the card reader on the day, but they have instructed us in advance so that we could get money from a money machine for which we were very grateful. would be coming back to a heartbeat.

Just happened to pop in after a walk up the Floyd. Nice beer garden round the back where I enjoyed a good sandwich
