Compadre's Texas Cafe - Conroe

We have lived in the Oak Ridge area for a while and just tried this place a couple of months ago. We go there at least once a week, and sometimes 2 or 3. Very good burgers, chicken fried steak, and breakfast food. I LOVE the ranchero sauce!! Service is great, people are friendly. We have got our friends hooked on this place too.

Texas Compadres is excellent, people are wonderful good people and the food is great! Had our wedding rehearsal dinner there 6 years ago and have been a regular there ever since. Just had our 4 year old granddaughters birthday dinner there and it was her choice! Will post some photos if I can!

We have passed this restaurant several times from going back and forth over the past couple years coaching soccer. Finally a few weeks ago, my husband and I stopped. It was so worth it. The food is so yummy. This has become my favorite breakfast place and I can't get enough of the tea. This will be our new place for our once a week family outing.

Pretty uniformly awesome. First visit, I had breakfast which was delicious. I did give in and order pie, if ordering dessert with breakfast Is wrong I don't want to be right. Not particularly inexpensive, but portions were appropriately generous. Against the backdrop of The Woodlands, with its complete lack of character, this is a real find. I'll definitely be back.
