Smokey Mo's Bbq - Conroe

I was disappointed. Based on the other reviews, this place is a hit or miss. We ordered brisket, sausage, mac cheese, potato salad, chocolate cake and pecan pie. The only thing I enjoyed was the sliced white bread. The brisket and the sausage lacked flavor. The cheese from the mac cheese reminded me of Rico's nacho cheese (gross). The potato salad looked more like mashed potatoes and tasted too sweet from the sweet relish overload. The icing on the chocolate cake tasted like watered down chocolate frosting. I didn't taste the pecan pie, but my mother didn't finish it and threw more than half of it in the trash.

One of my favorite places for breakfast tacos. That said I was there a couple days ago and it was a little frustrating to hear a manager or owner complaining about someone who came though the drive thru and placed an order for 24 tacos.First be thankful for the order. Secondly help educate the customer and tell them next time call in an order that size or simply pull up and we will bring the order out to you.Of course all this frustration prompted them to mess up my order. It’s a one off experience I am sure

Me and my 3 yo daughter come here on sundays after church for 2 years. On July 16, 2023 we came in and ordered our usual. Something was wrong and I think his name is Cody. My 2 meat plate had dropped down to 5 three inch pieces of brisket and two small ribs. And the pig it came from I’m guessing was anorexic. That didn’t bother me two much, but when this guy brought my daughters sandwich to the table and dropped it in front of her so hard the sandwich visibly bounced, so that he could simp for this lady who had her food but he asked her if she had enough meat and bacon on it then took it behind the counter to add more toppings to it. That’s when I decided I won’t go there anymore. If you’re a pretty lady your wish is their command. If you go there with family Cody will treat you like something I can’t say

1st time eating here my friend said it's a must we visit her favorite BBQ spot and they didn't disappoint I would definitely visit again great food and serviceFood: 5/5

The food was amazing. The slices of the brisket definitely needed to be thicker. Some slices I received were as thin as sandwiche meat. The ribs were smoked to perfection but had no meat on them . The tea was like Grand Ma's tea, just delicious, and the beans, Mac and cheese were on point very flavourful and cheesy.Food: 5/5
