Bidra med feedbackDuring our 6-week holiday in Sydney, we visited the RSL Club in Coogee the other night. This club is reserved for members, but guests can be signed in by members. The reception staff was very pleasant and we proceeded to the upstairs bar area for a meal and drinks. The space was fantastic with lovely surroundings. We chose to sit outside on the patio and were pleasantly surprised by the variety of food available at affordable prices. The steaks we ordered were excellent and my wife enjoyed her chicken dish as well. We stayed outside until late evening before moving downstairs to The Bunker function room where a 6-piece band was playing. We stayed until midnight, enjoying a great night out. We plan to return on March 25 for a performance by Tony Joe White, one of rock's all-time greats in The Bunker. This is an event not to be missed.
I may be a little late with this review, as the menu on the Coogee Diggers website seems to have changed. However, I was pleasantly surprised by this great venue, especially with the 11 pinball machines (8 of which were new to me!). The food was fantastic - filling, tasty, and hearty. The service was friendly and old-fashioned, not overly intrusive, but still welcoming. We visited with the kids during school holidays and we all had a great time. The atmosphere was cozy, eclectic, and fun. I would love to attend a gig there, but we don't often head south of the harbor, especially at night.
The breakfast and coffee were delicious! The restaurant had a really cool atmosphere and excellent customer service. This is definitely my favorite breakfast spot in Sydney!
Everywhere you go for coffee serves it with beautiful foam art. The Bunker Coffee was great, but truthfully I haven't had a bad cup of coffee here in Australia.
Pretty good cafe out in DarlinghurstHas some standard fare and serves Campos coffee, but what they do they do well.
