Bidra med feedbackI am giving 4 stars because of the mix of the experience. The food was phenomenal but the service was not 5 star worthy. The menu is large and just outside the doors. They do have smaller menus inside if you don’t want to wait outside.Proceed inside and there are 2 registers to order from. The people are very nice. When ordering the tots they will ask you “plain or sweet”. This means do you want regular potatoes or sweet potatoes. It can be a bit confusing if you aren’t ready for the question. The restaurant was not busy this morning. We were there on a Sunday roughly around 930-10am and there were 4 other families there. The food did take quite a while which I was surprised. It arrived hot. I ordered a sausage egg and cheese biscuit sandwich over medium with holiday tots and my husband ordered a sausage egg and cheese sandwich over easy and loaded tots. The holiday tots are so worth it. They were delicious. When the young person brought our food they were pleasant but said “I don’t know which one is over hard and which is over easy”. An identifying system may help alleviate this issue of confusion so we can identify the items correctly. They do not have name brand beverages. They are from the brand stubborn soda. We had the nitro cold brew coffees and they were really good. The restaurant was tidy and the restrooms were clean and well kept. We may return to the restaurant at some point as the food really is good. Could use some policies in place to assist with speed and quality of service especially for the price point. We had 2 people and we ordered 2 breakfast sandwiches, 2 tater tots sides and 2 coffee drinks and it was $47 before tip.Parking: Shared parking lot so plenty of spacesWheelchair accessibility: Wheel chair ramp and large entry door. A little tight inside the restaurant to maneuver.
Best experience for brunch! We both got biscuits and coffee… so good! Loved the atmosphere and how low key, homey and cute it felt! We’ll definitely be back!
Tried the chicken and not a waffle or something like that. Was pretty good. Wish they had brought utensils out with the biscuit. Was a very messy sandwich with the syrup.
Seems like it should be a friendly environment, staff was inattentive, I sat at the bar for about 10 mins before someone asked me if I was picking up I said no and she said I had to put my order in at the front counter so I went and did it, soon as I sat down at the bar same toothless lady brings me something i didnt order and quickly walks away. Mind you this was like a saturday morning/noon time. I had to grab my own cup and get a drink. I got a chicken and not so waffle which wasn’t really bursting with flavor overall probably wont return??
The food was surprisingly good and enjoyable, but the prices are a bit high for what you receive. Despite this, the restaurant seems to be popular and has multiple locations in the DFW area. The biscuits are larger than usual but somewhat dry, possibly due to their square shape. I tried the hot honey chicken biscuit and the hot hot chicken biscuit, but neither were actually spicy. The chicken pieces were thin and not very substantial. The French toast dish was decent, with two pieces of toast and syrup. Overall, the food was alright but I probably wouldn't return to this chain. I would rather visit Chick-fil-A, Popeyes, or Whataburger for a chicken biscuit. I can't comment on the salads, tater tots, or other menu items, as I only tried what we ordered. Perhaps those items are worth trying out on a future visit.
