Giovanni's Italian Pizzeria

I have been dining at this restaurant since it first opened many years ago. It is definitely a more upscale option for the Cove/Hood area. I decided to try it out after coming up from SPI and craving Italian food. Unfortunately, the food from the soup to dessert was below average. Everything seemed to be overly salty, with an excessive amount of sodium in each dish. Our server was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. It seems like this restaurant has had its share of highs and lows over the years, and we happened to catch it on a bad day. The price we paid did not match the quality of the meal. Maybe we should have gone for Korean food instead. Disappointed. Scouts Out.

A spacious and accomodating Italian restaurant hidden away in Central Texas. Very attentive staff will ensure a great experience at this relatively upscale facility. Lovely decor and seating options make for a captivating experience. Came here for some mandatory fun- ask about reserving a private room for your next event and they will take care of you!

Absolutely amazing restaurant! I ordered a calzone and what I loved so much about it was that the bread was soft, which I feel is rare to find The bread sticks they had were also amazing. They were very soft and were delicious. The food came out hot as well Kaylee was an amazing waitress. Even though we were the only ones on the back patio, she still kept checking on us and was very friendly. She went above and beyond I'd definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone in the area or anyone visiting

Food and service were amazing! The food is fresh and the recipes are amazing! Miss Anita was so friendly and gave excellent service! Our first time here and it was for Valentine’s Day! Definitely worth the visit!

Most authentic Italian food I have ever had. Most most delicious! Very clean. Excellent service! Beautiful inside and out! I Will be back!
