I Love Sushi - Coquitlam

I did not love sushi at this restaurant. The sushi rice was soggy and did not taste like sushi rice. The chicken karaage was bland and had no flavour. This restaurant is not authentic, and simply just operated by inexperienced restauranteurs. The wait staff seem grumpy and unfriendly. Especially when they returned to our table to top off our teas. To use the bathroom, you have to leave the restaurant from the rear to access the bathrooms in the bowling alley. The positive reviews here are from those who haven't experienced good authentic Japanese food. Tried and wont return. There are better restaurants in the area. Sorry not sorry.

An unexpected gem of a sushi place that is good for takeout or a quick bite before the movies.The fish quality was pretty good and the staff were pretty friendly. The only downside is that the restaurant can feel a little bit cramped.Otherwise, I whole heartedly recommend this place! As for food, creamy udon was surprisingly good and the schoolhouse roll was also delicious.

We ordered take out today. The majority of our food was fine but the spicy sweet chili shrimp was not done properly. The shrimp were not cleaned and there was black stuff clearly inside. Kind of lost my appetite after.

Ordered the love party and it was delicious. Portions are HUGE and the waiters/waitresses are very friendly ? i am definitely coming back!

Very nice staff, clean place, fast service, GREAT FOOD!!! kids love this place. If you order for pick up or take out, they would even give you a free sushi cone! and its right next to the bowling lane & movie theater, so eat before or after...its just convenient! plenty of parking too!
